Natural Enrichment Industries
Our History

Natural Enrichment Industries, LLC (NEI) is a U.S. manufacturer of Tricalcium Phosphate (TCP). The company was purchased from bankruptcy in December of 2000 after being closed for almost a year. NEI's first plant is located in the small, Southern Illinois town of Sesser where production began in the second quarter of 2001.

With a strong vision for business and community development, Emily Sepich Kuzma, President and CEO, has grown the company to become a major manufacturer of TCP. NEI's business mission has consistently emphasized the demand for a high quality product sold at a recognized value. NEI's innovative manufacturing process continually recognizes the needs of the customer. NEI has grown from being a small, low profile, Southern Illinois Company into an international exporter of TCP. NEI is a major supplier for calcium enrichment to the USDA International PL480, "Food for Peace" Program. With its second plant in Herrin, Illinois, NEI expects to further develop its domestic and export business. In 2008 NEI was nominated for and awarded the Illinois Governor's Export Award. This accolade is given in recognition for the export achievements of small businesses in the State of Illinois.

Much of NEI's success has come from selling and servicing large U.S. food ingredient and pet food companies. Additionally, NEI's success comes from sourcing all raw materials in the U.S.A. NEI takes pride in its 100% American made, quality TCP. Finally, by offering exceptional customer service, a consistent high quality product, various granulation sizes, and custom packaging, NEI looks forward to a bright future filled with continued success.
