TCP is also used as an anti-caking agent in salt substitutes, pet food ingredients, dry beverage mixes, dry soup mixes, dry gravy mixes, powdered icing, sugar, flours, spice blends, hydroscopic food products that require flow conditioning, dairy ingredients etc.
TCP is used in many non-food products as well. These products include many bath and beauty products. TCP acts as a dispersant in tablet manufacturing, a suspension agent for polymerization of styrene, ceramic coloring agent and as a buffering agent in toothpaste.
